President of the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the Resident Representative of the UN Development Programme (UNDP) Peter Grohmann.


During the meeting, Shaikh Fawaz lauded the contributions and efforts of the UNDP to support sustainable and human development and all media, economic and social activities in the kingdom, reiterating IAA’s keenness to enhance cooperation with UNDP in order to help achieve the aspired goals.

He also wished Mr. Peter Grohmann every success in performing his duties and consolidating UNDP’s cooperation with Bahrain.

On his part, the UNDP Resident Representative expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Fawaz, praising the IAA’s constructive and fruitful cooperation with UNDP in all fields.

UNDP’s programmes and functions in Bahrain were also reviewed.
